Gaelchultúr offers Irish language classes at up to eight levels, three times a year. The spring term of classes will be starting the week commencing the 6th February 2012 in various venues around the country.

The next intensive 3 month course in written Irish will take place between February and May 2012. This course is suitable for people who are fluent in Irish but who never got a proper chance to learn accurate grammar or to develop their writing skills.

Gaelchultúr organises one-day intensive preparatory courses for the Higher Diploma in Education (Primary) Irish interviews throughout the year. An intensive course will be held on the following date:

NCAD, in conjunction with Gaelchultúr, will be offering a one-year part-time Diploma in Teaching through Irish (Art) from early 2012. This programme, which is being supported by COGG (www.cogg.ie), is aimed at the following:
• art teachers who are working in Irish-medium and Gaeltacht schools or who wish to do so in the future
• primary school teachers who wish to teach art through Irish
• art students who wish to teach the subject through Irish on gaining their teaching qualification.
Classroom tuition and e-learning will be combined in the course, giving participants the opportunity to undertake course work at home at times that suit them, without the pressure of having to attend weekly classes.
