Irish Language Classes
Gaelchultúr offers Irish language classes at up to seven levels, three times a year, in various locations throughout Ireland. The summer course will began the week commencing 24 May 2010. This course will take place over a six-week period, with students attending one two-hour class per week. For further information, go to the Courses section of this website.
Éamonn Ó Dónaill's grammar book, Gramadach gan Stró!, is now available on www.siopa.ie. Price: €20 (plus postage). This book is aimed at people who already have a reasonable standard of spoken Irish but who wish to improve their grammar. It is suitable for those who don't usually understand grammar books and who find complicated rules confusing.

Course in conjuction with The Honorable Society of Kings
Preparatory course for Irish speakers who wish to apply for lawyer-linguist positions in the European institutions (2010)
The aim of this course, which is being run by Gaelchultúr in conjunction with King's Inns, is to prepare the participants for the entrance exams which will take place in the future in order to fill lawyer-linguist positions in the European institutions. The course will begin on Monday, 7 June 2010 and will continue until the end of September.
Deadline for applications
Applications must be received by King’s Inns by 4.00 p.m. on Monday, 17 May 2010.

MA in Applied Irish
The School of Languages, Dublin Institute of Technology started a new course, MA in Applied Irish, at the end of January 2008. This part-time two year course is being run in conjunction with Gaelchultúr.
The next course will commence in early February 2011. The deadline for applications for the 2011 course is 22 September 2010.

Gaelchultúr has developed an online course at intermediate level, Gaeilge Gan Stró!, and you can now register for it.
This course is suitable for people who studied Irish at school, who understand a good deal of the language but have had little opportunity to use it in recent years. Try it now for free.
