Irish Language Course for Hibernia Applicants
Gaelchultúr is organising an Irish language course for those who will be doing the Irish language interview for the H.Dip. in Arts in Primary Education with Hibernia. The course focuses on the main topics of conversation that arise in the interview and participants are given an opportunity to improve their speaking skills and add to their vocabulary. Participants will also have access for three months to an online course: Irish Language Course for Hibernia Applicants.
Option 1: Students attend a two-hour session in the classroom two nights a week for four weeks, in Gaelchultúr, 11 Clare Street, Dublin 2. These sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 7.00 – 9.00 p.m., on the following dates: 7 August, 9 August, 14 August, 16 August, 21 August, 23 August, 28 August and 30 August 2012.
Option 2: Students attend two classroom sessions that will be held on Saturday, 11 August, and Saturday, 1 September 2012, in Gaelchultúr, 11 Clare Street, Dublin 2. In addition, they will participate in a live online class one night a week for three weeks. These sessions will last for two hours. Live online classes will take place on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m.

Intensive Irish Language Course for Second Level Teachers in Gaelscoileanna and Gaeltacht Schools
COGG (An Chomhairle um Oideachas Gaeltachta agus Gaelscolaíochta), in conjunction with Gaelchultúr, is organising an intensive Irish language course for post-primary teachers who work in Gaeltacht and all-Irish schools for the third year running this summer. This five-day course will be held in Coláiste an Eachréidh, Athenry, Co. Galway, between 20-24 August 2012.

Autumn Term of Irish Language Evening Classes
Gaelchultúr offers Irish language classes at up to eight levels, three times a year, in various locations around Ireland. Gaelchultúr’s summer programme of evening classes will begin the week commencing 24 September 2012. Classes will be held in Dublin, in Carlow, in Cork and in Limerick but if you think there’d be demand for classes in your area, contact us on eolas@gaelchultur.com / (01) 484 5220.

Steeple Sessions
A series of concerts titled The Steeple Sessions is being held in the Unitarian Church on Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, every Tuesday and Thursday evening throughout the summer. Different guests perform each week, including musicians, dancers and singers.

The Earagail Arts Festival
