Gaelchultúr's autumn evening classes: an escape from the darkness and the bad weather!

Would you like to try something enjoyable and rewarding this autumn, and to escape from the darkness and bad weather for two hours a week? If so, register for one of Gaelchultúr’s evening classes in the coming weeks!

Gaelchultúr’s autumn programme of classes will commence the week beginning 24 September in four different locations: Dublin, Carlow, Cork and Limerick. Participants will attend one two-hour class per week (7.00–9.00 p.m.) over a period of ten weeks. Classes will be available at up to six different levels, from Beginners, suitable for people who have absolutely no Irish, to Accuracy in Irish, aimed at those who want to improve their grammar.

Learners who wish to check their level of Irish can try Gaelchultúr’s Online Irish Test. Alternatively, they can call Gaelchultúr’s office (lo-call 1890 252 900) for advice about which level would suit them best.

Gaelchultúr recently moved to a new location on Clare Street beside Merrion Square and the company is looking forward to welcoming learners to that new building.

“Gaelchultúr’s courses have been in great demand in recent years, so we needed to find a larger space,” says Éamonn Ó Dónaill, Gaelchultúr’s Director of Education. “We now have two and a half times as much space as we had in Temple Bar and this will greatly benefit learners and teachers alike. We think the new location will appeal to the public and that people will feel at ease there. We’ll be opening a shop in the building in the coming months, so people will be able to drop in from the street and buy Gaelchultúr’s books and other Irish language goods.”

Those wishing to attend an evening class can contact Gaelchultúr by calling (01) 484 5220 / 1890 252 900 or by sending an email to eolas@gaelchultur.com. Comprehensive information regarding the classes is also available on www.gaelchultur.com.

As places are limited, early booking is advised.
