The Certificate in Professional Irish in Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council

Since 2018, Gaelchultúr has run the Certificate in Professional Irish in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council on four occasions and four members of staff, including Paul O’Dwyer, have completed two levels of the course.

Certificate in Professional Irish presentation ceremony: Gallery

At an event held in Gaelchultúr on Thursday, 2 May, An Coimisinéir Teanga, Rónán Ó Domhnaill, and Secretary General of the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Katherine Licken, presented their certificates to students from a wide range of organisations who successfully completed the Certificate in Professional Irish in the spring.

'Deiseanna Duitse': a new series of live online interviews

Gaelchultúr recently began a series of interviews on Facebook Live called “Deiseanna Duitse”. Senior Editor with an Gúm, Seosamh Ó Murchú, was the first guest and in the weeks ahead there will be interviews with others working in the translation sector and on projects where the emphasis is on grammatical accuracy and high-level writing skills.

Irish language events: Club Chonradh na Gaeilge relaunch

On Saturday, 27 July, Conradh na Gaeilge’s club on Harcourt Street in Dublin will be relaunched. The day’s events will begin at 3pm and they will be suitable for all age groups, including families.
