There are great job opportunities available these days for those with a high standard of Irish and postgraduate courses in which the focus is on written language skills – including Coláiste na hÉireann/Gaelchultúr’s Postgraduate Diploma in Translation – are well worth undertaking.

Postgraduate Diploma in Translation: what two former students think of the course

Coláiste na hÉireann/Gaelchultúr has been offering the Postgraduate Diploma in Translation since 2013 and the course will be available again this year, from September. Learning Irish with ranganna.com

Since the launch in May 2008 of Gaelchultúr’s e-learning site, ranganna.com, people from all over the world have used this resource to learn Irish or add to their knowledge of the language - including Shane Wagy from the University of Notre Dame. Rather than cancelling Tionól Gaeilge UCD due to current restrictions, the Irish-language summer school’s organisers, Gaeltacht UCD, have decided to make a shorter version available online, between 29 June and 1 July.
