Gaelchultúr will be running sample Irish classes on Monday, 8 December. In response to the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the classes this term are being organised in support of the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) programme in Gaza. We’re asking all those who register for a class to donate €10, and all proceeds will directly go to this charity. The lives of people in Gaza are in great danger and these donations will support the necessary work being done by MSF to aid these people who are currently suffering as a result of attacks, lack of food and clean water, lack of medical provisions and unsafe access to hospitals.
There will be five class levels available, from complete beginners to advanced, so whether this is your first time learning Irish or you’re a fluent speaker, you can participate.

Gaelchultúr has developed comprehensive syllabuses and every class at every level follows these syllabuses.
The communicative approach to language teaching is used by Gaelchultúr’s teachers, giving learners the opportunity to play an active part in each class.
A strong emphasis is placed on group and pair work and learners therefore have a chance to practise what they’ve been taught. The main focus is on speaking and listening in all classes (with the exception of Cruinneas sa Ghaeilge), but reading and writing activities also feature.
